ss25 rice fields invitation —— 這一個春天作品的主題是米食,關於斗笠和飯盒,裝二十人份的 kopid 飯盒,倒過來是蒸米桶蓋子的 sa’ong 斗笠,用 hakhak 糯米和 tamod 母麴釀出來的酒,這些真實而細微的飲食文化與場域,藏著好多的眷戀和鄉愁。
釀酒的學習裡不只是釀製一甕酒,是在長時間繁瑣的釀造,還有找尋植物的過程裡累積經驗,伊麥說。於是每一次的練習都會淬煉成為自己的文化,建構屬於在地的知識,也像是被撒上 tamod 的我們,等待時間的發酵,呈現這個當代的我們。
ss25 rice fields 會在四月中展開為期六週的新品活動,在這段時間,k house 會轉變成米食田調的場域,還有特別版次的新品禮,歡迎到時候來坐坐!

ss25 rice fields — on rice, craft, and cultural practice.
This spring, we look to rice—not just as food, but as memory and craft. A twenty-portion kopid lunchbox, flipped over, becomes a sa’ong hat—the lid of a steaming bucket. With hakhak sticky rice and tamod (mother yeast), we brew rice wine and stories of home.
Each step—cooking, fermenting, gathering plants—passes on knowledge. It’s a practice shaped by time, like culture quietly settling into us.
In the coming weeks, Kamaro’an House will transform into a six-week space for fieldwork, tasting, and conversation. We’d love to have you drop by.

Old mortar and pestle sets, wooden bowls, pottery steamers, and rattan baskets for carrying rice—our Hualien studio has slowly collected these tools over time and turned them into a set of prints for this season’s invitation card.
