Archetype - 共同的記憶
這幾年，我們在東部土地上緩慢而徹底走訪，記錄了數十件文物，並觀察其中的原型。
在家具的流派中，”archetype 原形”是指流傳了千百年，在眾人的使用中共同凝結出來的器物形狀。
我們發現，葫蘆作為生活中經常使用的水瓶與種子儲存器——橢圓形的底部、雙層肚皮和編織提把——葫蘆圓滾滾的形狀也影響了陶器和籐編器外型。
這些胖乎乎的 atomo 陶壺、圓滾滾的無唇 koreng 水甕，還有四個手把的 fakar 提籃、繭形的 rakar 蝦籠，是部落裡的物件原型，也是共同的生活記憶。
千錘百鍊的器型，有其深植於文化的美學，也承載著土地上百年來的生活面貌。
Archetype - A Common Memory
In recent years, we walked through the eastern lands slowly, to record dozens of artifacts and observe the archetypes among them.
During the observation, we found that the gourds are used as water bottles and seed storages — the oval bottom, double-layered belly, and woven handles — affect the shapes of pottery and rattan ware.
We fall in love with the chubby vessels, it is a common memory in the tribe.
In SS22, we developed four bags and four pottery. They have mutually echoing shapes and weaving techniques, and intercommunication functions — Some can be carried, and some can be stored.
It is fine that we only need a few long-lasting things in life.
在 SS22 Archetype 的作品中，我們與台灣擁有三代歷史的製帽廠合作，使用歷史悠久的草木纖維織帶，延續籐編的螺旋織法，以旋轉成型的方式手製成為一個個扎實 archetype 物件。
我們也第一次推出陶器物件，在阿美陶與籐編之中，讓編織漫遊。
In the Archetype collection, Kamaro’an collaborated with a Taiwan hat factory with an 80-year-old history. We use the old hat sewing technique for bag making.
The hat factory has a unique technique to web infinite-length straw braid and has a wealth of sewing legacy. We also developed a special sewing method and coating to make the bag strong and durable.
葫蘆
Atomo Waist Bag
阿美陶的外型受葫蘆影響，有著圓弧的線條，並延伸出不同的功用，例如汲水器或雙層蒸籠。
葫蘆草編包引用傳統攜水陶壺的造型，圓弧的腹部可以承裝最多的水量。此包款可以作為腰包使用，亦可斜背，背帶拆下時，可以作為收納小籃。
This Atomo Waist Bag refers to the chubby shape of traditional water-carrying pottery that is called "Atomo".
This bag can be used as a waist bag and crossbody bag. When the strap is removed, the gourd-shaped bag can be used as a desk storage object.
水桶
Koreng Bucket Bag
延續阿美陶的形制，Koreng 是其中的一款煮飯器具，比起一般的陶壺，Kulan 壺肚更大，壺口寬且無唇。圓弧的形狀，是部落生活裡容器的共同記憶，我們以此延伸成日常容易使用的包袋。水桶草編包的背帶可以調節長度，包袋亦則可作為收納籃使用。

Koreng is a rice pot that has a gourd shape like the ordinary Pangcah pottery. Compared with general pots, the Koreng pot has a larger belly, a wide mouth, and no lip.
The gourd shape is the common memory of the vessels in tribal life.
The Koreng Bucket Bag is a nod to the traditional Pangcah pottery. The strap can be adjusted in length.

扇形
Fakar Basket
扇形草編包是有著四個手把的提籃，有三種使用方式，可以手提也可以肩背。使用強壯的收緣編法，使手把更耐用。
此造型源自於阿美族傳統的農耕工具籐編籃 Fakar，Fakar 擁有四個手把，使族人可以兩人一起搬運收成的沈重蔬果，彼此互相幫忙。
*附有亞麻抽繩內袋
This is a basket with four handles, it can be used in two ways, a handbag or a shoulder bag. A strong closure is woven on the handle to make it more durable.
This shape is derived from the traditional pangcah farming tool. Fakar is a rattan woven basket that has four handles. People can help each other to carry the heavy harvest together.

繭形
Rakar Crossbody Bag
這個斜肩包引用了魚筌的繭形造型，以及錐狀蓋子。魚筌的蓋子稱為「Padiwawa」，可以使魚蝦游進去卻出不來。繭形草編包，帶著收穫的愉快印象，讓我們繼續在生活裡游走。
This Rakar Crossbody Bag is inherited from Rakar, a cocoon-shaped fish trap with a cone-shaped lid. The lid is called "Padiwawa", the cone-shaped can make the fish and shrimp swim in but can't get out.
The cocoon-shaped bag, with a pleasant impression of harvest, let us continue wandering in life.
不用創造很多東西，生活裡的物件和哲學，到最後都是相通的。在古老的日子裡，用很少的東西，就可以應付生活裡很多事情。我們想要尋找器物的原型，繼續在時間的長河裡，緩緩向前。
喜歡每個季節製作不同物件的節奏，也因為複雜的製作工序，包袋與陶，我們只有製作固定的數量。Archetype 系列會在六月到九月之間製作與販售，Kamaro’an House 皆有展示品，歡迎來訪。
